Hal Melnick, EdD, is a retired faculty member of the Leadership in Mathematics Education program at Bank Street College of Education, where he taught courses in mathematics education for new and tenured teachers and math coaches. He began his career as an elementary school teacher in New York City public schools. He also served as a mathematics professional developer in public and private schools, both in the United States and internationally. Dr. Melnick is one of the original developers of Math for All.
