The Neurodevelopmental Framework

This opening episode highlights the Neurodevelopmental Framework, a key component of the Math for All approach to supporting mathematics learning for a wide range of students. Teachers use the NDF to help deepen their understanding of students’ strengths and challenges through 8 different cognitive lenses, creating targeted adaptations to existing math lessons to better support student learning.

The Focal Student Approach

Our second episode explores another key component of Math for All; the focal student approach. Hear a teacher and an instructional support leader share how lesson planning with a specific student in mind, rather than for a hypothetical average, benefits all students in the class.

The Principal's Role

Hear from school principals talk about the reasons they wanted their schools to participate in Math for All professional learning, about their leadership decisions to ensure its success, and about the ongoing impact the program has had on their teachers and students.
